Askhat Yerbolatuly Mussagaliyev has been appointed Director of the Atyrau Regional Academic Kazakh Drama Theatre named after Makhambet Otemisuly.
Askhat Mussagaliyev is an experienced actor who has been working on the professional stage since 2015. He graduated from the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts with a degree in Drama and Film Acting, as well as from the K. Baiseitova Kazakh National University of Arts, where he studied Musical Theatre Performance.
Askhat Yerbolatuly began his professional career at the Makhambet Theatre. Since 2023, he has worked at the Musical Theatre for Young Audiences in Astana. Throughout his professional career, he has portrayed numerous challenging and diverse characters, gaining extensive experience in stage and performing arts.
Askhat Mussagaliyev is a recipient of the “Umit” (“Hope”) nomination at the national theatrical award “Sahnager-2018” and has also been awarded the “Excellence in the Field of Culture” badge of honour.
