The 2nd in-house theater festival held at our theater has come to an end. As part of the event, specially invited theater critics watched eight performances and provided professional evaluations of each production.
Over several days, the festival offered a comprehensive review of the troupe’s creative exploration, directing approaches, and acting skills. Critics highlighted the artistic quality of the performances, stage culture, and relevance of the themes, while also sharing thoughtful feedback and practical recommendations.
In addition, lecture sessions were organized within the festival program. Meetings with theater professionals and actors covered topics such as “Current Trends in the Development of World Theater” and “The Evolution of Theater Festivals in Kazakhstan.” These sessions helped broaden creative perspectives and encouraged professional exchange.
The festival once again proved that it is not only a platform for creative competition but also an important stage for artistic growth and experience sharing.
Thus, the 2nd in-house theater festival concluded successfully, becoming a bright milestone of the creative season and setting a course toward new achievements.

The Premiere of “Broken Hope” Took Place

On December 10, the long-awaited premiere of the dramatic performance “Broken Hope” took place and became a notable cultural event, drawing great interest from the audience. With its deep psychological content, the production made a strong impression and was warmly received by viewers.

Through the fate of Tolqyn, who dreamed of becoming a mother, the play reveals the subtle emotional world of a woman, exploring themes of betrayal and shattered trust. The blow delivered not only by her husband but also by her closest friend left the audience deeply moved and prompted reflection on moral values and genuine feelings.

The director’s vision by Akylbek Khamitov gave the performance profound dramatic depth, while the stage design by Aidana Zhanbyrbay enhanced the emotional atmosphere of the production. Each scene brought the audience closer to the inner world of the characters and intensified the emotional impact.

The actors in the leading roles demonstrated a high level of professional skill and earned sincere applause from the audience. The performances by Altyngul Edilbay (Tolqyn), Darina Marat (Azhar), Rakhman Gabituly (Bolat), and Bekassyl Armanuly (Doctor) fully conveyed the core message of the play.
